Random Ramblings about Books:)

I skipped workout today.

I KNOW! SHAME JADE! SHAMMMMEEEEE! I was wanting to spend time with my mom though. So I did. We went shopping. (I spent a whole $6.50 [including tax].) THEN! We went to the grocery store (bought me healthier things to eat for breakfast and lunch). It was such an EXCITING day!

Anyways, yesterday was my youth pastors last day. It was all kinda sad... The youth group threw him a little party. We had cookies, candy, cokes, and chips and all that good stuff. We also got some really inspirational handouts he wrote for us. (Those words will now be the famous little quotes I like to put at the top.) And we played a fun little game called Apples to Apples. It was really great kinda unbelievable though but in the end... It's not bad. He has a new family and I'm pretty much too old for the youth group, so, I guess it was good... We also aren't having Wednesday night services for a long time... That totally sucks, but... It does make sense. The teachers need time to relax and kick back... I guess.

Oh! I'm following a new blogger whose blog is pretty sweet. Her whole blog, that I've seen anyway (lol), is about paranormal books and all that good stuff. Like, it involves werewolves, vampires, that sort of paranormal. Not like big scary Ogres. Unless it's Shrek. Because Shrek is just awesome.

Currently, the blogger, Lilium's Realm, is discussing the series of books "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" written by J.R. Ward. Who is a woman. I had no idea. I really thought J.R. Ward was a total dude just because of the raunchiness of the books. But then I shoulda realized something... Only a woman can really write a raunchy book with a great plot, OVER AND OVER AGAIN! I absolutely loved them. And I seriously have re-read them nearly a MAJILLION TIMES. :)

I love reading. I really do, it totally takes me a different world. My favorite books are definitely the vampire ones. I don't mean the wimpy Twilight series either. I love The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, The Midnight Breed series (Lara Adrian), The Vampire Academy (Richelle Mead), the list could go on but, I won't bore you with it.

Lemme list favorite authors for your enjoyment... :) DON'T SKIP OVER THIS! Because it's all important.
~Sarah Dessen ~She's a teeny-bopper kinda writer, but she touches on some deep subjects that makes me cry nearly every single time.
~James Patterson ~He's that kinda writer who writes some really good romance book that is mainly adventure, a little romance, and totally wins my heart nearly every time.
~Catherine Coulter  ~She's a mystery series writer (FBI books mainly) that has more romance then adventure but still makes me feel like my adventurous side came out.
~Maggie Steifvater ~She writes a werewolf series that makes werewolves not a pretty little thing like Twilight does.
~Lara Adrian ~Another hardcore vampire series writer, totally recommend her work for anyone who likes vampire novels.
~Catherine Anderson ~She has old timey books, I just finished one called Early Dawn that was set in 1890 that was really good and romantic but way outlawish and cowboyish at the same time. (And I hate old timey books...)
~J.R. Ward ~A hardcore vampire series writer, very much like Lara Adrian.
~Meg Cabot ~A teeny-bopper novelist that puts a smile on my face every time I read something she wrote.
(that's all for now, trust me, I could go on forever.)

I will bore you with more later.

So, I have an iPhone right? I love this thing more then anything! Except for when I lose it. Which is often. Anyways, so I have the Kindle app and all I do now is read with my Kindle app... Ah... Life is great.

I'm sorry this one was a little more boring then usual... but it is also LONGER then usual, and I happened to like it and really, that's all that matters. :)

Signing off,
Crazy. Eighteen. Girl.
